Biscayne Trail Segments C & D PD&E Study, Design and Permitting Services.

Client: Miami-Dade County Parks Recreation and Open Spaces (PROS) Department. Conducted an environmental evaluation of wetlands and other natural resources within the study limits of the Mowry Canal (SFWMD Canal C-103) and Segment C connection to a new park and bike parking lot at the entrance to Biscayne National Park / Miami-Dade Homestead Bayfront Park. He also assisted with the revision of the Corridor Analysis Report for Segment D. Simultaneously he has participated interchangeably extensive agency coordination and habitat assessment as it connects the County Black Point Park with Biscayne National Park. This included a unique cost benefit analysis of methods to deal with burrowing land crabs in Mangrove swamps that threaten to undermine the Storm Surge Berm that Segment C is designed on top of.  2013 – 2014
